GENERAL NOTES
----------------------
All individuals who have received any earnings during the reference period, only a subset may have been in employment at the time of the survey.
If the individual file does not include all household members, or if incomes are not available at the individual level, the variable is constructed either from other individual level variables (e.g. employment status), or directly from household level original information.
Pensioners and any individual receiving any kind of income is considered as earner.

COUNTRY SPECIFIC NOTES
----------------------------------
Generated by ERF by summating the total number of household members who were working during the week preceding the survey (v220), in addition to the number of those who didn't work during the reference period due to illness, and those who were in rest leave, or in leave because of bad weather, or due to a temporary stop of the enterprise activity (v222).
Those who have income or managing own property in addition to the number of pensioners (retired) were also counted among earners.
Unpaid family workers were excluded.
When the employment status is missing, unpaid family workers could not be identified, hence, they were not classified among income earners.
