All income variables are recorded as yearly amounts. ERF annualizes the amounts, if not provided as such in original data. Annual income amounts should be reported in country national currency. Non-existing social benefits or other income sources are recorded as 0. A check for outliers is necessary before conducting any analysis on the income data. Extreme cases were detected in the original variables; however the appropriate method to deal with it was left to the user's judgment.
